I supported FCA initially because I appreciated reading Christian testimonies by star athletes, and FCA was a good source for those testimonies. However, I have learned over the years that the far more important value of FCA is the presentation of salvation through Jesus that is given to every-day athletes in thousands of middle schools, high schools, and colleges. These are our children and grandchildren who are being taught the need for their own salvation and how to share it with their teammates.
Born and raised mostly in Mississippi and Alabama through college, Wayne was in the Marines for almost 21 years before continuing work in computer project management for another 30 years. Now retired, he and his wife, Regina, currently live in Culpeper, Virginia, and enjoy their four grown children and eight grandchildren who live in Virginia, Mississippi, and Kentucky..

Cindy has a heart for the youth and a passion to help them know Christ. She has been a supporter of FCA for several years now and believes deeply in the mission of helping student athletes to know and grow in Christ. As a new leadership board member, she is excited to see where God uses her in this ministry.
A former partner in a regional Certified Public Accounting Firm, Cindy has spent her career dedicated to empowering the lives of others – from financial and business success to executive coaching and leadership development. She has a coaching certification through the International Coach Federation and a calling for workplace ministry where she supports women of faith in their professional growth.
Her passion to empower women of faith extends beyond the workplace as well. As a small group leader in her church, she helps women professionals to grow spiritually, lead purposefully and become faith-filled leaders in their community.
Cindy’s first love is her family, and she adores spending time with her three grown children, three beautiful grandchildren, and extended family.

Erin Kozanecki has worked in state and local government for 20 years, with a background in budgeting, project and program management, and community engagement. She is pursuing her doctorate in public administration, holding a master’s in public administration and a bachelor's in government and international politics from George Mason University. She is an avid hiker, a lover of chocolate labs, and a mom to a fourteen-year-old son.
Why do I serve? My son is very active in sports, including year-round travel lacrosse, and joined FCA at his middle school. I felt called to help support the mission at the local level, where I have opportunities to make a positive difference. FCA was not very active in my community growing up, and I want to ensure that it is not the same for my son or my community.
