Who should apply for a scholarship?

Only apply if you cannot attend camp without financial help. If your family can cover the full cost (even if it would be inconvenient), please save scholarship funds for those with real need.


How do you decide who receives scholarships?

Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, the information provided in the application, and the funds available. Priority is given to applicants who would otherwise be unable to attend.


Where does the scholarship money come from?

FCA is a faith-funded ministry. Scholarship funds come from local donors, churches, and partners who give so athletes can attend camp. Want to help us - Give to our BFCA Scholarship Fund.


Is scholarship money wasted if fewer people apply?

No. Any remaining scholarship support helps strengthen and sustain FCA’s ongoing local ministry to coaches, athletes, and families.


How much should I request?

Request only what you truly need to make camp possible. If you can contribute something, please do—every dollar helps us serve more athletes.


Do you offer full scholarships?

Full scholarships are reserved for extreme circumstances. Whenever possible, we ask each camper/family to cover a portion of the cost.


Can I apply if I’m waiting on other help (church, huddle, civic club, sponsor)?

Yes. We encourage you to seek support from:

  • Your school’s FCA huddle
  • Your church
  • Local civic clubs (Kiwanis, Rotary, etc.)
  • Family/friends who may sponsor you


Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. Scholarship applications are reviewed only by the appropriate FCA staff/leadership involved in awarding scholarships.
