FCA Executive Assistant Job

We are actively seeking an Executive Assistant who believes in our vision, can add strength to our team, and help us grow God’s kingdom.

As the part-time Executive Assistant, you will be primarily responsible for increasing the productivity, capacity, and effectiveness of the Battlefield FCA Metro Director. The role requires a sharp, experienced assistant who enjoys solving problems, is motivated by execution, and excels in behind-the-scenes supporting roles. 

Desired Skills & Requirements


  1. Spiritually Strong: you know what it takes to grow in your relationship with God and serve behind the scenes in a way that brings God glory. 
  2. Calendar Management: you have skills to optimize the Metro Director’s calendar; integrate all obligations for productivity, confirm meeting attendees and prepare for meetings and ensure follow-up. Protect and build in margin in the schedule.
  3. Excellent Phone Skills: you can keep a positive tone and connect with leaders. Persistent at reaching out to schedule meetings for Metro Director with donor leads, Pastors, business leaders and schedule speaking engagements.
  4. Basic Accounting Skills: you can help keep track of the Battlefield FCA budgets and work with the Metro Director to produce financial reports for board and staff meetings. 
  5. Computer Skills: you are skilled at Microsoft 365, TEAMs and have working knowledge with marketing automation CRM’s or can learn quickly.
  6. Professional Skills such as work ethic, organizational, writing and editing proficiency and communication.  A joyful disposition, tenacity in follow up, and an ownership mindset are all critical for success.
  7. Person of Integrity who practices what they preach. If God isn’t working in you, He cannot work through you. You have a history of a strong and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. This is crucial to success in this role. 
  8. Working Knowledge in social media management.

 

Examples of what you will do:

 

  1. Coordination of calendars, scheduling meetings, and acting as a proxy between Metro Director and Leadership Board, Volunteers, Donors, and Staff. 
  2. Run financial and staff reports. Update tracking reports.
  3. Research businesses, churches, and individuals to help the Metro Director continue to find the right doors to knock on as he seeks to raise funds, hire staff, and see the mission accomplished.
  4. Create, edit, proofread documents that will be used throughout the ministry to share the story of God’s work through FCA.

Note: The position of Executive Assistant is part-time with hourly requirements varying by time of year. The position is a fully committed call to the ministry of FCA. Prayerfully consider if you are the right person to help us accomplish the vision and mission that God has given.
